Use

Business objects are used to represent a concrete or abstract real-world semantic entities, the smallest logical units to take part in a business scenario.

Prerequisites

·        You have created a development component.

·        You have opened the Composite Application perspective or the Composite Designer perspective.

Procedure

...

       1.      Click the node of the package in which you want to create the business object with the secondary mouse button and choose New Business Object.  

       2.      Choose the package in which you want to create the business object.

       3.      Enter a name for the business object.

Note

To change the prefix for the names of the tables generated for each business object node, navigate to Preferences   CAF and enter a value in the Default table name prefix (only capital Latin letters allowed) field.

       4.      Choose where you want to put your business object node.

¡        To create a new structure, choose Create a new structure.

¡        To use an existing structure, do the following:

                                                  i.       Choose Use existing structure.

                                                ii.       Navigate to the structure node under which you want to put your business object node.

       5.      Choose Finish.

Result

The new business object node is added to the Composite Application Explorer.

To delete a business object, select its node with the secondary mouse button and choose Delete.

You can continue designing your business objects.
