Wizard-Based Configuration for SLD
After full installation and before manual configuration, you can run the wizard-based basic configuration for SLD. The configuration wizard saves you time and manual steps.

Only run the configuration wizard if your system has never been configured before. If you have modified the system already or if you have upgraded from an older release, do not use the configuration wizard. Instead, use the manual steps as required.
To carry out the wizard-based configuration tasks required for your system, perform the following steps:
...
1.
Start the
wizard-based configuration tasks. For more information, see
Configuration
Wizard.
2. From the All Configuration Tasks view, choose Initial setup of functional unit SLD.
3. Specify the SLD client user and password that resulted from the initial setup of the SLD.
4. Specify if you want to use a remote SLD server or setup a local one.

For some use cases you can only use a remote SLD server. In this case, you are not allowed to setup a local one.
5. Choose Next.
The steps are executed one after the other. You can check the process status for each step. If an error occurs, you have the following options:
○ You can retry the current step.
○ You can skip the current step.
○ You can cancel and restart the process.

Once all steps have been executed, you receive a corresponding message. You can view a log for each step.
The wizard-based configuration of functional unit SLD performs the following post-installation steps:
● Configuring SLD Security Roles
● Connecting AS Java Systems to the SLD
Additionally you
can change the configuration of the SLD. For more information, see
Changing the SLD
Configuration.
