Preparing CMS 

Use

This is a configuration steps that you have to take to manually configure SAP NetWeaver Development Infrastructure (NWDI), only in case the automatic configuration fails.

To be able to work and transport with SAP NetWeaver Development Infrastructure (NWDI), you must first prepare Change Management Service (CMS). The configuration wizard performs these steps automatically during post-installation. By default, it creates a domain called SID and a track named SANDBOX.

Prerequisites

You have an administrator user with configuration authorizations in NWDI.

Procedure

To prepare CMS for use, perform the following steps:

       1.      Use the administrator user to log on to the CMS server.

       2.      Perform the following activities:

                            a.      Configuring a Domain

                            b.      Creating a Development Track

Result

You have prepared CMS for development operation.
