The Web Dynpro tools allow you to perform a quick and simple project-specific search for metamodel objects. You can use this search to find
● Web Dynpro objects
● Model objects
● Dictionary objects
The search is carried out based on the development component definitions, that is, in projects with a connection to the NetWeaver Development Infrastructure (NWDI). Also the search result is displayed by project.
The table below shows the logical objects that you can carry out generic and wildcard searches for and display in the dialog box:

6. In the result list, you can double-click an object to navigate to the assigned Web Dynpro tool, where the object is then displayed. If you double-click a Web Dynpro component, the Data Modeler tool starts. If you double-click a Web Dynpro view, the View Designer tool starts. If the object in question is a model, the system indicates where it was defined in Web Dynpro Explorer. The qualifier (package) is also displayed for each metaobject.
