Configure Service Component Task Panel

The Configure Service Component task panel enables you to define attributes for a service component. A service component is a customized data service, containing one or more data services that you manipulate to provide the data you require in a single service component.

The following table describes the properties and attributes of this model element:

Group	Property	Description
General	Name	The name of the service component, in read-only format.
	Runtime	The runtime provider to be used when deploying this service component.
	Define as application	Specifies whether the service component can be run directly from the Deploy task panel after deployment.
	Keywords	Free text that describes the service component, to be used for searching and grouping purposes.
	Categories	Category entries used to group similar service components together.
