Procedure documentation Consolidating Roles  Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

Use

For each action that you add to a block flow, the Guided Procedures (GP) framework creates a separate process role. These roles are further propagated from block to process level. At runtime, you assign user(s) to each existing process role to define who is responsible for its execution.

Consolidating roles implies grouping and displaying them as a single one. You consolidate the roles for those actions that must be executed by the same user(s).

You can consolidate roles at block or process level.

Result

At runtime, you only need to assign users to the role group you have created. The same users are automatically assigned to all roles that are included in the group.
