Procedure documentationDisplaying and Starting Processes in the Process Repository Locate this document in the navigation structure

 

The Process Repository application is part of SAP NetWeaver Administrator Configuration Management. This application allows you to perform the following:

  • View the development components of the deployed processes, versions of the components deployed, and all the process and task definitions deployed.

  • Start the process instances.

  • Download all the corresponding files of processes and tasks, for example, WSDL files, data types, and so on.

Procedure

  1. Log on to the NetWeaver Administrator (NWA) application.

  2. Select   Configuration Management   Processes and Tasks   Process Repository  .

    The system displays the development components of the deployed processes and their details as described in the table below.

    Displays the list of development components created and deployed using the NetWeaver Developer Studio

    Component Versions of the Component: <component name>

    Displays the available versions and the current active version of the selected development component

    Processes, Tasks and Rules of the Component: <component name> with Version: <component version>

    • Processes, Tasks and Rules tab page: Displays processes, tasks, and rules of the selected component and version number

    • Resources tab page: Displays files of processes and tasks, for example, WSDL files, data types, and so on

  3. Optional: To view the process model of a process, select the required process in the Processes, Tasks and Rules tab page and choose Process Flow.

  4. To start a process (with active version only), proceed as follows:

    1. Choose the Processes, Tasks and Rules tab page.

    2. Select the required process and choose Start Process.

      The system launches the process startup UI and displays the URL of the involved web services at the bottom of the screen.

    3. Enter the required input parameters and choose Start Process.

  5. Optional: To download a file, select the required file in the Resources tab page and choose Download Resource.
