Importing EP 5.0 Packages 

Use

Importing EP 5.0 packages into the portal entails a content migration process. Packages with EP 5.0 objects are in the following formats:

·        PKG format, if they are exported from an EP 5.0 installation

The file in PKG format contains references to other dependent files having different formats, depending on the object type they contain.

·        ZIP format, if they are downloaded as a business package from the SAP Developer Network (SDN)

Import of the content may involve the following scenarios:

·        You import and convert EP 5.0 export packages and/or business packages from the Client.

·        You import and convert EP 5.0 from the Server.
