Use

Guided Procedures (GP) enables process contributors to check different aspects of a process at runtime by means of different views.

You can configure the available runtime views when designing the process template.

Procedure

...

       1.      In the gallery, select the relevant process template, and open its design time.

       2.      To switch to edit mode, choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text (Edit).

       3.      Open the Select Views tab page.

       4.      You can add the following view types:

¡        Generic views

The GP framework provides a set of predefined runtime views, which you can use. The following table provides an overview of the available generic views and the information they provide.

Enables you to see:

      attachments added to the process in the design time Attachments can also be added at runtime.

This is the default view that is added to the process template initially.

      information about the process, blocks, and action, such as processors, deliverables, and so on

¡        Custom views

Additional views can be implemented as well. You can add them using Add Custom Views.

       5.      Select the default view that to be displayed initially when the process is started.

       6.      Choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text (Save).

Note

You can remove a view by selecting it and choosing Remove View.

However, at least one view must be defined for a process.

Result

At runtime, process contributors may switch between the predefined views.
