You use the Initialize Data dialog box to define initialization values for each of the fields in a dataset for a connector (such as Start Point, End Point, User Data, and Data Store.

You display the Initialize Data dialog box by clicking the Initialize Data button in the Define Data dialog box for a connector.

The Initialize Data dialog box contains the following items:

Dataset tree

The dataset tree displays the record sets, records, nested fields, and fields of the dataset. Each node in the tree has an icon that indicates the node type. Each field has an icon that indicates the field type.

For each field in the dataset, you can define the value with which it should be initialized.

You can right-click a record set in the tree and choose Add Record to '<record set name>' to add a new record to the tree.

Reset

Deletes all user-defined data from the Initialize Data dialog box, for example, any manually added records and any defined field values.
