Navigating with OBN 

Object-based navigation (OBN) enables developers to specify navigation based on business objects and operations, without identifying a specific navigation target at design time. Portal administrators can later assign specific navigation targets to these business objects and operations, and the navigation target can be determined at runtime.

There are no special Web Dynpro APIs for using OBN. The standard OBN APIs can be used within Web Dynpro to trigger object-based navigation.
