More information: Creating a Service Using the Service Component Wizard

The Define Data step contains the following items:

Item

Description

Connectors

Displays any Static Data connectors that you added using the Service Component wizard. Each time you add data to the Data pane, it is added to a new Static Data connector.

Delete Connector

Deletes the selected Static Data connector.

Rename Connector

Enables you to enter a new name for the selected Static Data connector.

Data

Displays the data added to the selected Static Data connector. Drag-and-drop or copy and paste data to the Data pane to automatically add it to a new Static Data connector.

Paste from Clipboard

Pastes data from the Windows clipboard to the Data pane. Data fields must be separated by a tab character, and each record must be separated by a newline character.

Each data selection is added to a new static data connector. A blank row of data causes all data after the blank row to be added in a new static data connector.

Header row

Specifies whether the first row of the data you are adding is a header row.

This option is available for selection only before you add the first data selection. The choice you make automatically applies to all subsequent data selections you add to further Static Data connectors in this step of the wizard.
