Publishing Web Services in Service Registry with CAF 

Use

This procedure describes how to prepare your Web services for publishing to the Service Registry.

Prerequisites

·        You have configured your NWDS to connect to the Services Registry.

Procedure

...

       1.      In the Composite Application Explorer  perspective, navigate to the Web service you want to publish.

       2.      Open the context menu of the selected Web service.

       3.      Choose Create Publishing Data.

       4.      Select classifications from the available list form the Classification Systems view.

       5.      Choose Save application 

The Save application option is also available in the application context menu. Later on you can edit the data you publish by using the Edit Publishing Data option.

       6.      In the context menu of your application, choose Build application.

       7.      From the same menu, choose Deploy application.

Result

After deployment, you have your Web service prepared for publishing to the Service Registry. To actually use the Web service, you need to perform additional configuration in Service Registry user interface in the SAP NetWeaver Administrator.
