In the Administration user menu, you can, among other things, display and change the current configuration values of the volumes, the parameters of a database, and the backup templates.

Note Note

If a database user is performing configuration functions, the configuration function is locked for all other users.

Prerequisites

OLTP: Prerequisites

liveCache: In accordance with the authorization concept, the user was assigned one of the roles SAP_BC_LVC_ADMINISTRATOR or SAP_BC_LVC_SUPERUSER. You are in the user menu of the user with the authorizations that correspond to this role.

Procedure

Open the Database Assistant (transaction DB50) or the liveCache Assistant (transaction LC10). Choose   Administration   Configuration  .
