Editing Web Service System
Properties
The template for a Web service system defines the specific parameters needed to consume a Web service, and contains a reference to the Web service connector. The Web service system inherits these properties, some with default values, others that require the setting of values. You edit the system by inserting needed property values and by modifying default values, if necessary.
The template contains many properties, not all of which can be edited, and not all of which are necessary for establishing a connection and consuming a Web service.
The table below lists the properties needed to define connectivity to a Web service. Each has an explanation of the value that should be set.

1. From top-level navigation (TLN), choose System Administration → System Configuration.
2. From Detailed Navigation, choose System Landscape.
3. In the Portal Catalog, right-click the system whose properties you want to edit, and from the drop-down list choose Open → Object. This opens the System Landscape Editor.
4. Set your Web service system properties according to the details in the table below.

Force SAP UI Parameter Management |
● Declares whether the Web service adheres to the SAP UI Parameters standard. ● Rearranges input/output parameters to adhere to SAP UI recommendations, for example, each element of the input data type appears either 0 or 1 time but no arrays or tables are allowed. |
WSDL Caching (days) |
● Defines the WSDL caching period in days. If WSDL is not changed frequently, caching increases performance ● Default value: 1 (day) ● Valid values: none/1/30/infinite |

5. Save your settings and close the System Landscape Editor.
