Backup History 

The database system chronologically logs information in the backup history about all the database instance backup and restore actions it has executed.

The database system writes the backup history in the following log files:

●      For backups without external backup tools, in the dbm.knl log file

●      For backups with external backup tools, in the dbm.ebf log file

To display the backup history, use the Database Manager or, in SAP systems, the Database Assistant.
