Working in Worklists: Statistics, Translating,
Uploading
· The administrator responsible for coordinating worklists created a worklist and released it for translation.
...
1. ChooseContent Administration → Portal Content Translation → Worklist Translation.
2. Find a worklist by entering an ID or with a generic search (* wildcard supported).
The worklists found are listed.
3. When you select a worklist, the following statistical data is displayed:
¡ Status, for example Released for Translation
¡ Last Changed By
¡ Last Changed At
¡ Translation statistics—number of strings in a worklist, how many have been translated, and how many have not
4. Define the source and target languages.
You can also define Raw Texts as the source and target languages. These are texts that have no language code. Raw texts can be used, for example, as source language when you make correction to faulty language—like translating incorrect English to correct English.
5. Choose Load for Translation.
A list of all text strings is displayed, sorted in increasing order by number. (By clicking the column heads you can sort the strings to your convenience.) You can now start translating.
6. Choose the string to translate, one at a time, using the radio buttons to the left; translate the text in the Target Text area below. (The Source Text area is read-only.)
Below the target area, the functions Previous, Next, Clear and Copy Source Text are available. You can also select the checkbox Save text each time you choose "Next"/"Previous".
Even after loading and while working on translation, you may be interested in seeing the current translation statistics of the worklist. You can view statistics at any time by choosing Worklist Statistics from the drop-down list at the top of the worklist. To return to translating, choose Worlist Contents.
