A SAP GUI for Windows must be installed on your computer.
If you select the menu item New Window under File, a new window is opened. The URL of the original window is used. You can, for example, enter and launch a different URL in this new window.
View Menu
If you select the menu item Source under View, the source code of the user interface is displayed in XML format. This function supports your search for errors, since the source code displays the content that is passed from the server to the client.
You can save the source code on your local computer by choosing Save as…
Theme Menu
This menu offers the following themes:
●
Tradeshow
Select the Tradeshow theme if, for example, you need stronger colors on a
beamer for presenting the Web Dynpro application. With its darker frame and
background colors, which contrast more strongly with the lighter background,
the Tradeshow theme provides a greater color contrast than the Streamline
theme. It uses stronger shades of blue and is suitable
for presentations on all beamers and flatscreens. All Web Dynpro applications
are visualized in this theme by default.
●
Streamline
The Streamline theme uses light blue backgrounds and is very suitable for
display on monitors and newer presentation media. Most of the elements of the
theme use similar color shades (primarily blue with various shades of light
and dark). However, the colors fade if the Web Dynpro application is displayed
on a beamer or flatscreen.
●
High
Contrast
The high contrast of text and background in the High-Contrast theme supports
the accessibility of Web Dynpro applications.
●
Enjoy
The Enjoy theme is based on
the colors and designs that were selected for the Enjoy SAP initiative. User
interfaces that are easy-to-use and user-friendly were developed for SAP
Systems with Enjoy SAP.
If you choose this menu, a dialog box with the application properties is displayed. This dialog box has two tabs:
●
Trace Options
Under Trace
Options you can create a trace file with the
appropriate settings for the various network components. For example. you can
make the following settings on this tab page:
○ You define the format of the trace file in either TXT or HTML format.
○ You define the mode for the trace file.
○ With the directory path you define the storage location of the trace file on your computer.
●
