Exporting the AS Java Certificate

Use

Use this procedure to prepare the certificate exchange between the WS consumer and WS provider that is required to set up the trust relationship between the two systems.

Prerequisites

●      You have decided which confirmer to use.

Procedure

       1.      In SAP NetWeaver Administrator, start Configuration Management → Security → Trusted Systems.

       2.      Select the link Web Service Security SAML.

       3.      Choose the Local SAML Issuer of Assertion tab page.

       4.      Select the Confirmer..

The issuer’s certificate is displayed below the table.

       5.      Select the certificate including the lines BEGIN CERTIFICATE and END CERTIFICATE, and save it in a text file in the file system.

Result

You have made the certificate available as a file, which you can later import into the WS provider system.
