For Web Dynpro projects that have been created with an older Developer Studio version and that have been imported into a newer Developer Studio version, the repair function is provided by Web Dynpro tools.
Start the repair function on the corresponding project node in Web Dynpro Explorer that triggers the
● creation of (not yet available) folders (for example/gen_cmi)
● creation of needed classpath entries (check the referred classpaths via Window → Preferences → Java → Build Path → Classpath Variables)
● creation of project natures dictionary, common model, and Web Dynpro
● check for registered model types (for example com.sap.ide.webdynpro.modeltypes.ReverseEngineered, com.sap.ide.webdynpro.modeltypes.WebService)
After repair execution, the updated source path(s) and classpath entries are displayed. Overall, an old project structure is adapted to the new project structure type. You can do project repair for one or more Web Dynpro projects in one step, and you get a text message if project repair was successful.
