Updating Development Configuration Using
SDIC
You use this procedure to setup update of the development configurations in the state store of the Serverside Development Infrastructure Client (SDIC).
● You have configured the SDIC properties. For more information, see Configuring SDIC Properties.
● You have the necessary privileges to use the SAP NetWeaver Administrator.
● You have established a trust relationship between the AS Java running the SDIC service and the AS Java running the NWDI using SSO.
● All users connected to SAP NetWeaver Development Infrastructure (NWDI) through the SIDE updating the development configuration log out during this update time.

We recommend that each user checks in or reverts his or her pending open activities. Otherwise the changes could be lost during the update. For example, if a user has an open activity in a workspace that was recently deleted from the development configuration, the user would lose all the changes when the update is executed by the administrator.
