Logging: log-configuration.xml File (Deleted) 

Use

Log-configuration.xml file does not exist anymore.

If you want to make log configurations, use the following methods respectively:

●      If the log controller does not exist, request it from the SAP Logging API and it will be created automatically.

●      To change the severity of log controllers, use the SAP NetWeaver Administrator.

Effects on Data Transfer

If you try to deploy in system 7.1 an application that was created in system 7.0 (containing a log-configuration.xml file in it), this does not cause any problems in the system. This XML file is ignored by the Deployment service and the application is deployed and run successfully.

You can configure the log controllers using the methods and tools above.

To view the relevant logs and traces, use the SAP NetWeaver Administrator.
