Logging: Standalone Log Viewer (Enhanced) 

Use

For system 7.1, there is no longer a separate Standalone Log Viewer server.

In cases when your server is down, you can view your logs and traces remotely. For that purpose, connect to the SAP NetWeaver Administrator tool Log Viewer from another AS Java. Use the predefined Standalone Log Viewer View with the following remote connection methods:

●      to view logs and traces on systems 7.0, use the Remote Method Invocation (RMI).

●      to view logs and traces on system 7.1, use the SAPHostControl.
