Logging: Creating Log Controllers (Enhanced) 

Use

In the older system 7.0, for each deployed application, the user creates relevant log controllers .

For system 7.1, when deploying an application, you do not need to create log controllers. When you want to refer some, the Logging API creates it on demand. This improves and facilitates the developer's logging work.

Effects on Data Transfer

All log and trace records are written in the log controllers, created on demand by the SAP Logging API.

Effects on System Administration

For administration tasks, use the following:

●      To change the severity of log controllers, use the SAP NetWeaver Administrator.

You cannot configure the log controllers' features from the SAP NetWeaver Developer Studio.
