Procedure documentation Configuring Proxy Settings  Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

Use

To use Web services clients for external communication, you have to configure global HTTP proxy settings first. These global settings affect all Web services deployed on the server.

Procedure

...

       1.      Log on to the SAP NetWeaver Administrator.

       2.      Choose SOA Management Technical Configuration System Global Settings.

Alternatively, you can use the quick link /global-settings as follows:

http://<host>:<port>/nwa/global-settings.

       3.      In the Host and Port fields, enter the host name and the HTTP port of the proxy server.

       4.      If the proxy server requires authentication, enter a user name and a password.

       5.      In the Exclude List field, enter the addresses (part or whole) which you want the proxy server to ignore. You have to add the local IP addresses and domains which do not use the proxy server. Make sure the addresses are separated by the following symbol (|).

       6.      If you choose  Bypass proxy server for local addresses, the system accesses local addresses directly without using the proxy.

       7.      Choose Save.
