You can synchronize a development component or model stored in the source control system. This makes a local copy of the last checked-in version of the model or development component. Synchronizing a model may be useful when you want to be sure that you are viewing the latest changes that may have been made to a model by another user. You may also want to synchronize before deploying a model, to make sure that the latest model versions are included in the build (deploy processes use the local copies of models and development components).
When you open a component from the source control system, it is automatically synchronized before opening.
...
1. Choose Model → Manage Models.
2. In the Manage Models dialog box, expand the Shared Repository or source control node and select the development component or model that you want to synchronize.
3. Click the Sync button. The last check-in version of the selected item is copied locally.
Although the item is copied locally, it is not visible in the Visual Composer local repository.
