Procedure documentation Checking In a Model  Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

Use

After modifying a model that is stored in the source control system, you check it in. Checking a model into the source control system enables version control on the model (when working with DTR) and allows other users to edit the model. When working with the DTR, each time the model is subsequently checked in, a new version of the model is stored.

Note

To check in a model residing in the local repository, you need to add the relevant development component to the source control system. When you do this, all models in the development component are automatically checked in to the source control system. For more information, see Adding a Development Component to Source Control.

Prerequisites

You have checked out the model.

Procedure

...

       1.      Choose Model Manage Models.

       2.      In the Manage Models dialog box, expand the Shared Repository or source control system node and select the model that you want to check in.

       3.      Click the Check In button. The model icon in the tree changes to indicate that it is checked in.

Result

The model is checked in and can now be modified by other users.
