Procedure documentation Restarting the UWL Service  Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

Use

You can restart the UWL service for example to take the changes effect without restarting the whole portal.

Procedure

       1.      Choose System Administration → Support.

       2.      In the Table choose Portal Runtime.

       3.      In the Table of “Portal Anywhere” Admin Tools choose Application Console.

       4.      From pulldown menu choose com.sap.netweaver.bc.uwl and click Show.

       5.      For class com.sap.netweaver.bc.uwl.core.portal  UniversalWorklistDeploymentHook on the bottom of the table Portal Service Items click Restart.

A message, said that the Portal service is successfully restarted is displayed.

       6.      For the application com.sap.netweaver.bc.uwl on the top of table Portal Service Items click Refresh.

A message, said that the Portal service is successfully restarted, is displayed.
