Starting Applications
Starting the WD application means that it is executed after the development process, either for test or productive purposes, and therefore displayed in the client window which can be either a business client, a browser window, or a mobile device.
Prerequisites
- Application development is finished, including all configuration settings, if necessary.
- The WD project was deployed to the Engine of the SAP NetWeaver Application Server.
Procedure
1. Choose Run out of the context menu from the application unit. In the upcoming wizard, you create a run configuration. Select New and make all required entries.
2. Check Create archive, if you want to create a new archive that is to be newly deployed before each execution of the application. By default, this field is unchecked; the application is executed, but not deployed to the server again beforehand.
3. Choose Apply followed by Run to execute the application.
