DataSource Use in CAF and SAP BI

A DataSource is a set of logically-related fields that represent data into SAP BI. A DataSource could be easily mistaken with JDBC DataSource, but in terms of BI a DataSource is very much like a database table definition (with its columns). Each DataSource, provided by CAF framework represents a specific composite application data.
