Use

To enable Single Sign-On for SAP Shortcuts you have to create and configure a Portal iView that SAP GUI users can use to launch a transaction on the target AS ABAP system.

Prerequisites

The AS ABAP is configured to accept and verify logon tickets. For more information, see Configuring SAP Systems to Accept and Verify SAP Logon Tickets.

Procedure

       1.      In the Portal, create a system object for the target AS ABAP system you want to integrate and choose a system alias for the system object. For more information, see System Landscape in the EP documentation.

       2.      Create an iView using the SAP Transaction iView template. For more information, see Creating Transaction iViews.

                            a.      In the Portal choose Content Administration    Portal Content.

                            b.      In the Content Catalog on the left, right-click on the folder in which you wish to create the iView and choose New   iView.

                            c.      In the iView wizard, choose SAP Transaction iView, then Next.

                            d.      Enter the iView name, then choose Next.

                            e.      Choose SAP GUI for Windows, then choose Next.

                              f.      In the System field, choose the system alias for the system object you created in step 1, enter a transaction code, then choose Next.

                            g.      Choose Finish.

       3.      Assign the iView to a role and assign the role to the AS ABAP users that will use SSO from the Portal to SAP GUI.

Result

Portal users can launch transactions on the target AS ABAP system from the portal iView.
