Purpose

To start and execute a workflow in Guided Procedures, you must first create a process template. You use the blocks and actions to model its flow, and in addition configure process aspects, such as roles, runtime views, and so on.

Prerequisites

·        To create objects in the Guided Procedures design time, you must hold the GP Business Expert and the GP Expert User portal roles.

·        Basic knowledge of the Guided Procedures design time tools is also required, since this documentation does not describe in detail the procedures for creating objects.

Process Flow

The Order Office Material process is built as follows:

       1.      First, the basic data is defined.

Name

Order Office Material

Description

Order Office Material

Original Language

Location

Examples

       2.      Next, the process flow is defined.

The process only contains the Order Office Material block.

At the process level, you can consolidate roles and parameters, and maintain the built-in process roles Administrator, Owner, and Overseer. However, the required configurations for this process, such as parameter and role consolidation, are done on the block level. Therefore, additional tuning is not required.

Result

Once the process template is activated, it can be used to start a process in the GP runtime.
