Configuring Proxy Settings 

Applicable to: remote role assignment, remote delta link, WSRP application sharing 

Use

If you are using a network proxy server to control traffic leaving your company domain, you need to configure the portal proxy settings for your producers and consumers.

If you are using a reverse proxy, you need to configure it according to your federated portal network landscape. For more information, see How To Set Up the Landscape for a Federated Portal Network, available on SAP Developer Network: sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/howtoguides → SAP NetWeaver 7.0 → User Productivity Enablement → Running an Enterprise Portal.

Prerequisites

You have access to the SAP NetWeaver Administrator tool.

Procedure

To specify the proxy server property values, you need to configure the following application and service in the SAP NetWeaver Administrator tool (see Accessing Portal Services in SAP NetWeaver Administrator):

●      Portal application: com.sap.portal.ivs.httpservice 

●      Service: proxy
