Defining System Selections

       1.      Login to the SAP NetWeaver Administrator using the following URL: http://<host>:<port>/nwa

       2.      Choose Define System Selections from the left-hand side navigation bar.

The System Selection dialog appears.

       3.      From the Landscape Type dropdown menu, select the desired landscape type and then choose Go.

This will generate a list with the available technical systems.

You can also use the Filter field to filter the available systems by their name. After using this field, choose Go to continue.

       4.      From the list with the available systems, choose one or more systems you want to administer at a time. To select a system, use the checkboxes on the left.

       5.      Enter a name for your selection in the Selection Name field.

This is an arbitrary name used to distinguish your combination of systems from the ones that are already available.

       6.      Choose OK.

Your selection appears in the navigation bar. Next to each system in your selection there is a checkbox that can be further used in the administration process to concentrate only on particular systems from the selection.
