Procedure documentation Deleting a Database Instance  Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

You can use the Database Manager GUI to delete a database instance.

When you do so, you can also specify whether the database files on the DBM Server should be deleted.

Prerequisites

You have set up the connection to the DBM Server.

The database instance is in the OFFLINE operational state.

Procedure

...

       1.      Select the database instance in the list of database instances.

       2.      Choose Instance →Drop.

       3.      If you do not want to delete the database files, deselect the Delete database files field.

       4.      Confirm that you want to delete this database instance.
