When you create an object in Guided Procedures (GP), its initial state is set to Inactive. To be able to use the object at runtime, you must first activate it. Activation implies publishing the object for use in processes.
To activate an object, you must have completed the required steps in the object definition process. For more information, see:
· Exposing Applications as Callable Objects
...
1. Open the gallery, select the required object, and choose Open… to open its design time.
2. To switch to edit mode, choose (Edit).
3. To activate the selected object, choose (Activate).
The system saves and activates the whole hierarchy below the selected item. If you have changed the parameters of its children, the changes are reflected in the upper hierarchy levels.
4. Make sure that the icon in the Status column has changed to (Active).
The selected object and the objects below it in the hierarchy are now in active state.
The next time you edit them, the system creates a new inactive version of the object. You can still use the deprecated versions in active processes.
You can also compare and restore deprecated object versions.
