Mobile Roles
A mobile role must fulfill the following requirements:

A mobile role is not an entry point.

A mobile role has at least one Home page or a Launcher.

The Home pages and the Launcher are entry points.

The Home pages and the Launcher must be tagged with the filter ID values that are used for mobile content.

The Home pages are assigned the Home mobile perspective.

The Launcher is assigned the Launcher mobile perspective.
When multiple mobile roles are assigned to a user, the user has access to all the Home pages that are configured in those roles.
When there are multiple Launchers in the roles, their content is merged into a single Launcher .
Every User Mobile Role
Portal on device provides an Every User Mobile Role role. This role is not an entry point, and is composed of the following components:

A Home page that is an entry point, and is assigned the filter ID values com.sap.portal.smartphone and com.sap.portal.tablet .

A Launcher folder that is an entry point, and is assigned the filter ID values com.sap.portal.smartphone and com.sap.portal.tablet .

Two Favorites iViews, one for displaying in the toolbox on smartphone devices and another for displaying in the extended toolbox on tablet devices.
Both iViews are entry points, and each is assigned the respective filter ID value.

Two Portal Explorer iViews, one for displaying in the toolbox on smartphone devices and another for displaying in the extended toolbox on tablet devices.
Both iViews are entry points, and each is assigned the respective filter ID value.
- Two SAP Store iViews, one for displaying in the toolbox on smartphone devices and another for displaying in the extended toolbox on tablet devices.
- Two Quick Guide iViews, one for displaying on smartphone devices and another for displaying on tablet devices.
You can modify the out-of-the-box mobile role; for example, by adding content to it.
You can also create additional mobile roles.
