Manual import of new exchange profile properties shipped with a new release or support package.

Context

Use this procedure to manually import new Exchange Profile properties shipped with a new release or support package. This procedure is part of the CTC wizards for upgrade and update (PI Upgrade, PI Upgrade EHP, PI/ESR Support Package Update). In case you need to manually perform the steps, follow the instructions below.

Procedure

  1. Open the Exchange Profile maintenance page at http://<host>:<port>/exchangeProfile.
  2. Choose Import.
  3. Select the file that contains the new Exchange Profile properties.

    This file is usually located in the installation directory at /usr/sap/<SID>/SYS/global/xi/exchangeProfile/exchange_profile.xml.

    Caution

    Make sure that the Overwrite check box is not selected.

  4. Import the new profile.
