Configuring Shared TableLocate this document in the navigation structure

Prerequisites

Start the command console Config Tool by double-clicking the consoleconfig script file in <SAP_install_dir>/<system_name>/<instance_name>/j2ee/configtool directory.

Context

The shared table stores monitoring information about applications, browser sessions, Web sessions, processes, EJBs and so on.

You can configure this shared table via particular properties. They are represented as tables in the SAP Management Console, for example. This procedure also enables you to change the number of the relevant table's rows.

For example, you can change the number of concurrently supported active Java applications, Java processes, threads, EJB sessions and so on.

If you change the properties of an instance, the changes applies only to this instance.
