Trigger Archiving Report

Use

This report triggers the archiving of KMC archiving objects. The report searches for objects marked for archiving and whether an owner is specified in the Owner field.

Features

You can configure the following settings for this report:

Parameter	Description
Location	Select the repositories from the list in which to search for objects that are marked for archiving.
Maximum Results	The system terminates the search when it has found the corresponding number of items.

Parameter	Description
Owner	Specify the owner of the archiving objects. Enter the user logon ID of the archiving object owner. This parameter is optional. If you specify an owner, the report searches for archiving objects with status Marked for Archiving owned by the specified user.

Command	Description
Archive	The command archives the objects marked for archiving in the selected repositories.

Result

The system runs the report according to the settings. Once the report has finished, you can view the result by choosing the name of the report from the list of the reports. You can find this list when you choose Start of the navigation path System Administration Next navigation step System Configuration Knowledge Management Content Management Related Links Archiving Tools Trigger Archiving End of the navigation path . If you want to see the reports exported in the XML files, choose Start of the navigation path Content Administration Next navigation step KM Content root Reporting Reports System Administration Archiving Tools Trigger Archiving or open the View Report Result screen by choosing the report and then from the ID parameter choosing the XML file.
