Prerequisites

You have accessed the Adapter Engine monitor. For more information, see Displaying Technical Data for the Adapter Engine .

Context

Using the Advanced Adapter Engine monitor you can display information about adapter queues, event handlers, the technical properties of the XPI service, and also technical details about messages.

Procedure

  1. Choose the Additional Data tab.
  2. Choose one of the Queues , Message Details , Event Handler , or Technical Settings tabs.

Results

The system displays information as follows:

  • On the Queues tab you can see information about the individual adapter queues for each adapter.

    If you select a queue, the system displays a list of the messages that are currently in this queue. To navigate to the message monitor, choose the message ID of a message. For more information, see Monitoring Messages .

  • In Messaging Details you can select among the following message categories:

    • All synchronous messages that are currently being processed.

    • All asynchronous messages that are currently being processed.

    • All messages that are waiting to be executed again.

    • All messages in EOIO sequences

    You can select a category to see the messages that belong to it. To navigate to the message monitor, choose the message ID of a message.

    You can also search for specific messages by entering a message ID.

  • In Event Handler you can see the registered event handler.

  • In Technical Settings you can see the technical properties with their actual XPI service messaging system values. For more information, see the “Properties for XPI Service Messaging System” topic in the documentation of Process Integration.
