The user account used for publishing services is assigned to the SERVICES_REGISTRY_READ_WRITE role, and also to one of the UDDI_TierN or UDDI_Admin roles. For more information, see Services Registry Roles .
You can remove service definitions directly in Services Registry. This procedure is intended primarily for third-party service definitions.
In AS ABAP and AS Java, you can use publication rules to publish and remove services from the Services Registry. Services and their endpoints that are added to active publication rules are published to Services Registry. The active publication rules detect any changes to these services and take care to publish the necessary updates. If you, for example, delete a service endpoint for a service, the publication rule removes the information about this endpoint from Services Registry. When you remove services and their endpoints from publication rules, the information about them stops being available in Services Registry.
For removing services developed on the AS ABAP or the AS Java, you should use the corresponding tools provided by the development infrastructures:
In SOA Manager, you can remove service definitions developed on AS ABAP
In SAP NetWeaver Administrator, you can remove service definitions developed on AS Java.
