There are two ways of creating a status:
When you do this, you can create individual menu bars, menu functions, and function key settings either for an arbitrary basic status, or from the appropriate overview list. After that new statuses can use these components.
Use the procedures below to copy a menu bar, a function key setting or an application toolbar.
Copying a Menu Bar
The system displays a list of all existing menu bars for the current program.
The status links to the functions on the list.
Copying a Function Key Assignment
The system displays a list of all existing function key settings for the current program.
The system creates the link to the function key setting.
Copying an Application Toolbar
The system displays a list of all existing application toolbars for the current program.
The system creates a reference to the application toolbar
Removing Links
The simplest way to remove a link is to overwrite the link with new information.
You can also use the Edit → Initialize function to reset a function key, menu, or pushbutton setting.
