Changing Date EffectivityLocate this document in the navigation structure

Prerequisites

The effectivity must be created in the Rules Composer.

Context

The effectivity option for a rule helps you execute rules at runtime. To control the runtime rules execution, you can specify the period of time in which a rule should be valid and effective.

Procedure

  1. In the Rules Navigator view, expand the project node and select the ruleset or flow ruleset.
  2. Under the Rules section, select the rule and choose Open .
  3. Under the General Information section, select the value next to the Date Effectivity field.
  4. In the drop down menu that appears, choose the effectivity.

    The drop down menu lists the date effectivities created in the Rules Composer.
