Converting a Web Dynpro View to a Flash ViewLocate this document in the navigation structure

Prerequisites

You have created a development component along with views and windows in the Web Dynpro perspective.

Context

You use this procedure to convert a Web Dynpro view to a flash view. The flash view provides a richer user experience, and a better look and feel for all Web Dynpro-based applications.

Procedure

  1. Convert a Web Dynpro View to a Flash View

    • Open either the Web Dynpro Explorer or Data Modeler .

    • Select the appropriate view and choose Convert to FlashViews using the right mouse button.

      A change in the RootElement icon in the outline view indicates the conversion of the Web Dynpro view to a flash view.

  2. Bind the Shockwave Flash File to the Flash View

    • Select swfFile from the Properties tab.

    • Browse for the required swf file (flash file) from the folder.

    Note

    You can browse either in the local or the MIME folder to search for the required flash file.
