Configuring Composite Application Framework and Service Composer

You need to install the functional unit Composite Application Framework Runtime (usage type CE-APPS ) to be able to use the Service Composer and/or Composite Application Framework (CAF). For more information about using SAP NetWeaver Administrator tool for installing functional units, see Functional Unit Configuration .

CAF Administrative Tools Usage

To enable users to work with the CAF administrative tools, you must have permissions to manage users in the User Management Engine (UME). You have to assign the users to the CAF roles SAP_CAF_ADMIN and SAP_CAF_DEVELOPER . For more information about working with the UME, see Managing Users, Groups, and Roles .
