Use

System-internal content exchange scheduler tasks that send subscription to content using the push or pull method at particular times can only be executed on a CM installation in a load-balancing environment. This CM installation must be entered beforehand in the configuration of the content exchange task queue reader.

The content exchange task queue reader reads the system-internal content exchange scheduler tasks and automatically enters the defined CM system into each scheduler task.

Integration

If you set up content exchange on any of the CM installations in the load-balancing environment, for example, to create a subscription to content, a corresponding order is written to the central CM task queue.

The content exchange task queue reader is now executed on a load-balancing system defined for it (for example, Node_3) and reads the task queue once a minute. If a relevant task is found, a system-internal scheduler task is created for this subscription. This task is carried out on this system in the load-balancing environment (Node_3). In these system-internal scheduler tasks, the sending of documents for push subscriptions and the receiving of documents for pull subscriptions is defined.

For more information, see Content Exchange .
