Viewing Active SessionsLocate this document in the navigation structure

Use

The Web Sessions function enables you to view the number of all active Web sessions from all instances.

Prerequisites

You have started SAP NetWeaver Administrator and use the System Overview application.

Procedure

Stopping Inactive Sessions

  1. Check the number of the active sessions via the Active monitor.

  2. From its context menu, choose Manage Sessions and go to the Session Management application within SAP NetWeaver Administrator.

  3. Use the filtering function to display all inactive sessions.

  4. Select the inactive session you want to stop and choose Terminate .

Viewing the Monitor Chart

  • To see the monitor chart, choose Active and from the context menu choose View History .

  • You can also change the alert thresholds. For this aim, choose Active and from the context menu choose Configure Thresholds .

    The Monitor Browser tool is opened and you can modify the thresholds within the Monitor Configuration area.
