Adding Collections to the BufferLocate this document in the navigation structure

Use

When selecting collections or working with the statistics display, you can add collections to the buffer.

You can then easily reuse this selection, when calling up a worklist or making a new assignment of collections to another translator, without having to make the same selection again.

Procedure

From the Statistics Display

  1. Expand the statistics display so that you can see the collection names.

    • To select one collection, choose the icon next to the collection name.

The whole line for this collection should now be highlighted.

    • To select a block of collections, hold down the SHIFT key, choose the icon next to the first collection in the block, and then choose the icon next to the last collection in the block.

    • To select multiple collections, hold down the CTRL key, then choose the icon next to each collection that you want to add to the buffer.

  2. Choose Add to Buffer.

The success message Selected collections were added to the buffer appears.

From the Collections Dialog Box

  1. Select the collections that you want to add to the buffer.

  2. Under Export , choose the Buffer pushbutton.

The number of selected collections that you added to the buffer is now displayed next to the Buffer pushbutton.

Result

The next time you access the Collections dialog box, you can choose one of the selection functions (for example, Choose , Add, Remove, Intersection) next to Buffer under Selection Basis to make use of the selection of collections that you added to the buffer.
