Collecting and Displaying eCATT Statistics DataLocate this document in the navigation structure

Use

You can use reports to collect eCATT statistics data and save it in the system. The eCATT statistics display has a range of analysis functions that you can use to filter and display this data. The statistics solution captures the following values (these values reflect the data at the respective time or period of extraction):

  • Highest procedure number (LogID)

  • Number of system data containers

  • Number of test scripts and test script versions

  • Number of test configurations and test configuration variants

  • Number of test data containers, test data container variants, and test data container versions

  • Number of source code lines (command lines)

  • Number of blank lines

  • Number of comment lines

  • Test driver use (occurrence of command)

Prerequisites
  • To collect the eCATT statistics data in a system, the administrator must start the relevant reports.

  • To ensure the data can be read by the statistics display tool, you must make sure the relevant Web service is activated in the system.

To activate the service, call transaction SICF and search for the service ECATT_STATS_DISPLAY. Use the secondary mouse button to call the context menu of the entry and choose Activate Service.

  • To ensure the the statistics for the test driver or command use can be read, the relevant eCATT commands must be assigned to test drivers. Tables exist for this purpose, which are filled with the most important values by default; you can supplement these with your own assignments, see Assigning eCATT Commands to Test Driver Groups.

Procedure

Once the data has been collected in the system, you can read the data with the eCATT statistics display tool.
